I Love Packages!

Packages by Mark Falardeau via Flickr

It’s been a week of packages… how I love packages!

As I have handmade the majority of my Christmas presents this year (more on that in the podcast at the weekend) I seem to have had Christmas shopping withdrawal symptoms.  I seem to have treated myself to rather a few crafty bits and pieces this week.  Today I took delivery of 2 stunning skeins of Malabrigo and some sock blockers.  I will take pictures at the weekend when there is some decent light.  This is for my attempt at knitting socks in the new year.  The trouble is, I want to knit them now!!  MUST RESIST!  I have to complete Cerus scarf first (my final Christmas knitting project).  I really have to be strict with myself… watch this space.

There was my recent book purchase which I talked about in the last post and also, today, my third copy of Making Magazine arrived.  It’s ‘the vintage issue’ and it is divine.  The best bit about it is that iMake gets a mention on page 9.  How very exciting.

Finally, my Ravelry friend Ceri (and iMake podcast listener) sent me some small balls of sock yarn for my sock yarn blanket that I am starting in the new year.  This was so generous of her that I am posting her a little handmade something at the weekend.

Yes packages are very exciting.  I’d better crack on with Cerus…
